We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Learn and develop on the Finastra Summit trading platform.
  • Collaborate actively with business stakeholders and project managers and manage the expectations
  • Work on the new core components of Finastra Summit, taking part in design reviews, development, testing meeting all development standards
  • Contribute towards the technical specification of Summit components from time to time
  • Contribute towards improvements of DevOps standards within the team
  • Work in agile culture and adopt POD model
  • Responsible to create technical spec and develop code from the business requirement.
  • A high degree of project responsibility. The ability to own development and see it through from inception to close
  • Responsible for production delivery by becoming the effective bridge between different IT Development, change management, and business stakeholders
  • Identifies problems and implement technical solutions
  • Ability to understand challenges and deliver on the application upgrade.
  • Provide BAU support, Should work within defined timelines and meet quality goals
Requirements:
  • Knowledge on Finastra Summit application
  • Strong technical skills in C++
  • Windows batch Scripting and Batch Scheduling
  • DevOps tooling landscape like Jenkins, Check Marx, GIT, G3.
  • Understanding of individual Straight Through Processing (STP) Servers (e.g. Trade, Settlement, Flow) & Workflow Configuration
  • Understanding of Fixed Income products e.g. Bonds, Repos
  • Hands-on SQL, PL/SQL
  • Autonomous, self-motivated and excellent team player.
  • Back Office Operations (Accounting, Settlement, Confirmations)
  • SWIFT messaging Framework
  • C# .NET
Candidates with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
